Project:
London Bridge Green Grid Action Plan
Client:
Team London Bridge Business Improvement District

Where Pathways Meet were commissioned by Team London Bridge to review and update their green infrastructure action plan.

Working with the client we refined the brief to ensure that our work would result in a pragmatic report and action plan that they could implement over time, use to support funding bids and also flexible enough to inform applications for industry benchmarking initiatives such as Green Flag Award and London in Bloom.

We undertook extensive stakeholder engagement as part of this process, meeting with local landowners, developers, community groups and contractors to understand the needs of the neighbourhood.

The resulting work is now being implemented through projects and informing business planning decisions.

‘WPM responded to our brief to assess how we maintain our green spaces. They suggested a Green Space Management Plan, formatted so that it could be applied to situations that could elevate our status, such as green flag and Britain in Bloom. We had lots of useful stakeholder meetings, all managed very efficiently, which has opened up new opportunities and contacts for the future.‘
