Working at consultancy The Means, Valerie developed the Welcoming Public Spaces action plan for the newly established Opportunity Kensington BID.

Working closely with local stakeholders, including the local authority, landowners, businesses and residents, through a series of focused workshops she established an ambitious and deliverable vision and strategy for the BID area.

This was underpinned by the scoping of a suite of public realm and green infrastructure projects that can be delivered over time and a horizon scan of th development pipeline in the area.

Early projects are now being progressed by Opportunity Kensington through their five-year business plan.
